Postcards
Video 2015    6’05’’

The postcard is understood as a portable object that carrying the visuality of places, triggers in the observer a mental process of making memories suggested by what is presented in it. The project results from the interception of two mediums - video and photography - worked as matrices of different temporal dimensions: the freezing and the movement of the image, inscribed in a temporal and mnemonic context.

In this kind of temporal communication between the two registers, it is proposed to explore the visual influences exerted in this dialogue, by inscribing the mediums in two different times among themselves. The moving image is born of the static image in order to become the metaphor of a materialization of mental memories and thus result in a strange event.
